The Building Department issues building permits to homeowners and licensed contractors to regulate construction within the City limits. We work closely with the Planning and Engineering Divisions to help maintain a small-town feeling while ensuring that modern-day building safety requirements are met.
Permit Center
The Permit Center provides permit processing information and assistance as well as conducting building and development plan reviews for projects located within the City.
Building Permit applications may be submitted over the counter between the hours of 8:00a.m - 11:30a.m. and 1p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or emailed to the Building Permit Center. Plan check and permit fees will be identified as part of the intake process with a Permit Technician.
The International Building codes are followed not only to protect your health and safety, but that of your property investment as well.
